 Madeline's lovely pink polka dress is
from "The North and South" book one. The dress is featured in N&S
during the confrontation scene with Justin, Madeline's first husband at
the old abandoned church.

The dress is just simply stunning with all the gathered ruching on the bodice
and upper sleeve. It has heavy braid accents on the upper sleeve.

The bodice is made in a heavier lining similar to that of a corset. With a deep V
at the bottom front, it  laces down the back as  many dresses of that period.

The under sleeves are a white dotted Swiss with very deep elegant cuffs adorned with
tiny round buttons

The skirt is a very full 9 panels of fabric measuring over 300 inches so it can worn over a hoop slip.
A matching purse is included.
