Ellen O'Hara's Prayer Gown
"Reproduction gown made by Gwtw4ever" Ellen's Prayer Gown Constructed of approximately 16 yards of deep blue or black taffeta, the bodice is flat lined, boned, and lined and closes with approximately 32 hooks. It attaches with 8 hooks & eyes to the skirt which is over 350 inches wide at hem .
"Original Gown from film" "Reproduction by Gwtw4eveR" Black velvet mantel and tab trim is 4 yards of velvet. The dress is trimmed with 23 gold rimmed black buttons and has detachable full sheer white sleeves.
Dress requires a 7 wire hoop slip with minimum bottom circumference of 175 inches ( maximum of 200 inches). See Underpinnings page for examples.
Optional gathered/or pleated taffeta and
velvet bonnet to match gown may be ordered.
