Scarlett O'Hara's Calico Gown
Orchid Calico War Gown Constructed of approximately 18 yards of orchid calico, the bodice is flat lined, boned, and lined and closes with approximately 32 hooks and eyes. It is trimmed with ball buttons while the sleeves have another 16 buttons. It attaches to skirt which is over 350 inches wide at hem with 8 hooks & eyes. The strapped bodice apron is made of brown broadcloth.
"Gwtw4ever's Reproduction Calico" "Original Calico from Gwtw" Dress requires a 7 wire hoop slip with minimum bottom circumference of 175 inches ( maximum of 200 inches) . See Underpinnings page for examples.
"Reproduction by Gwtw4ever" "Original from film" Dress may be ordered in the tattered state which does not require a hoop slip and is minus the brown strapped apron but may include a brown hopsacking tie on triangle apron.
Optional blue calico sunbonnet available. ~Linen and Calico Atlanta evacuation street gown~ The SKIRT is fashioned of light blue calico and brown broadcloth while the bodice is flat lined, boned, and lined and closes with approximately 32 hooks and eyes. It is trimmed with buttons and it attaches to skirt with 8 hooks & eyes. The skirt is over 350 inches wide at hem. A white apron is included.
