Stripe Walking at Tara Dress has been selected as one of our next projects.
Walter Plunkett's original sketch of the Green Stripe Walking Dress.
The 3 piece dress as well as the hat and purse will be constructed of SILK ORGANZA & TAFFETA .
Original dress from the film on exhibit display.
This fashion plate is from the September 1866 Godey's Ladies Book. Look closely at the red & white strip dress for Walter Plunkett's inspiration for Scarlett's version. Note the green bolero jacket behind it whihc was used for this dress and the stripe bodice at the far left which shows up as Scarlett's Red & White Christmas with Ashley dress.
gown requires a medium size heavy duty 6 wire hoop slip.
